Hi there, and welcome to our little corner of the internet!

We’re Felipe and Julia, a Brazilian couple living in sunny Florida. We`re originally from the state of São Paulo, Julia moved to Florida in 2016. We met in 2018 while she was on vacation back in Brazil — and the rest is history! We got married in 2022, and that same year, I (Felipe) made the big move to join her here in the U.S.

Our family has since grown to include two crazy (but adorable) Chihuahuas, Dobby and Sushi — and we’re now expecting our first baby, Levi!

This blog was born from our love for discovering new places and wanting to share it all with others. We’ve often found it hard to discover unique or lesser-known experiences here in Florida — especially ones outside of the typical tourist spots. So we thought: why not create something to help others like us?

On Brazilian Diaries, you’ll find a little bit of everything:
